PhD in Portuguese Art History at FLUP in 2017 with the Thesis Images in the Moving Image. Documents and Expressions.
He conducts research on film and the moving image and on its use as a resource for studies in art and heritage history, as well as on visual culture, the sound-image relationship and the history of art and architecture of the contemporary era, and is the author of several publications in these areas. His research interests also include media art and the relationship of the moving image and heritage with tourism and advertising.
Throughout his career, he has oriented several master’s and doctoral theses and participates in several projects related to his research areas.
