Flávio Miranda has been a contract researcher at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto since 2018. D. in 2012 with a thesis on Portuguese mercantile activity in Atlantic Europe in the Middle Ages (Portugal and the Medieval Atlantic. Commercial Diplomacy, Merchants, and Trade, 1143-1488). His research topics include economic, institutional and urban history.
