Cecília Mónica Santos Cardoso has a degree in Art History (2017) and a Master’s degree in Art History and Visual Culture (2019) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, having carried out a curricular internship at the Tourism Center of the Municipality of Gondomar in this context. At present she is a PhD student in Heritage Studies at the same Faculty, whose project is funded by FCT under the reference SRFH/BD/06909/2020 and guided by Professor Ana Cristina Sousa. In her professional career she has presented communications and written articles related to traditional wood crafts and techniques. In 2021 she contributed in the organization of the Documentary Exhibition “Móveis Giestas: A Memória de uma Fábrica”. She is also an integrated researcher at CITCEM and an associate of the Asociación para el Estudio del Mueble. Dedicates herself to the study of Art History, Applied and Decorative Arts, Wood Arts, Material and Immaterial Heritage.
