Ana Lúcia Terra is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, where she has been teaching in the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programs in Information Science since November 2020. She holds a PhD in Documentary Science from the University of Coimbra (2009), a BA in History and an MA in Modern History from the same institution. She took a Specialization Course in Documentary Sciences (Archive and Library/Documentation option) also at the University of Coimbra. She has been teaching in the area of Information Science since 2002, when she began her academic career at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She has taught in the Licenciatura in Documentation and Information Sciences and Technologies and in the Master in Business Information, as well as in the Post-Graduated Specialization Course in School Library Management. In 2009, she was awarded the Raul Proença Prize by APBAD. He is an integrated member of CEIS20-UC and collaborating member of CITCEM (University of Porto) and CEOS-PP (Polytechnic Institute of Porto). He is president of the Iberian Chapter of ISKO and a board member of the Bobcatsss Association (AKA Euclid). She was the coordinator of the Information Science WG of SOPCOM (2013-2019). He has devoted his research to information management, informational behavior, and the organization and representation of information. She has participated as a responsible researcher and researcher in several funded projects (Erasmus+, FCT, etc).
