With a degree and a master’s degree in History from FLUP, he is, since March 2022, a researcher at CITCEM – Center for Transdisciplinary Research on Culture, Space, and Memory. Currently, he is a PhD student in History at FLUP and a grant holder of the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (UI/BD/152807/2022), developing the project with FCT support: Forest, Economy and Society: the case of the eucalyptus and the new environmental challenges (XIC-XX centuries). His main research interests are environmental history, the creation of protected areas, industrial and forestry policies.
